Our first match to be played in the HCSDL was against ZfG. Playing for WR was Munchkin, Viper, Nyt, Conman, Savage and Evil Dead.

Map 1. KARACHI: 4-2 WIN

We started with a bang on defence, their whole team was down within the first minute! But things did not stay that easy, as we found it equally hard to plant on our turn. Our second turn at defence didn't go so well, and they managed to get the plant.

But thanks to Viper and Nyt racking up impressive kills between them, we cruised the rest of the rounds for a 4-2 win. It must be said however, that sitting in the lobby watching the guys was incredibly stressful for those who had died! Banter between teams was top notch though.

Map 2. Quarry: 4-1 WIN

Not really much to say about Quarry apart from it went very well, we all knew where we were supposed to be. Even though we were down to five for the last couple of rounds due to Nyt losing connection, we defended and attacked with confidence. The only round we lost was our first attacking round, which was my fault for forgetting to take the bomb to A straight away
I did make up for it with some important kills later on when Nyt had dropped though

Map 3. Underpass: 4-0 WIN

This map was really good for us, and also me personally which I was fairly happy about! We defended our positions well, and knew where we all were at all times. And on attack we just blitzed them!

For our first match in the SnD league, this could not have much gone better. Three points on the board is a great start, here's hoping we can get some more in the coming weeks. Division 1 is full of extremely difficult teams, but if we continue to develop our tactics and how we work together, we'll do WR justice.
